Political cartoons often use exaggeration and symbolism to make a point, and they can also serve as important visual sources for analysis. What is being criticized in this image? What does this source suggest about the issue, and what does the cartoonist want the audience to question or reconsider?

Prompt: The cartoon is criticizing how leaders may distract the people with foreign conflicts. It shows Trump pointing at another country while a harmful bill crushes uncle Sam. The elephant represents the republican party and a heavy policy hurting Americans. ICE standing by adds to the idea of tough or harmful domestic actions. The cartoonists want the audience to whether attention is being pulled away from real problems at home.

Summary: Today in class we skimmed sources and discussed as a class if they should be restructured or not.

Reflection: today in class I learned about having to research 10 sources each member of my group and then drop it to 7 sources.
