What strategies have you and your group used to ensure that all members are actively contributing to group assignments? Explain how you communicate, divide responsibilities, and hold each other accountable throughout the process.

Prompt: What me and my group members do is take turns in speaking so we all get a saying on what we believe is the best options and what we believe isn't the best option. When we are communicating and our group member is speaking, we wait until they are done and we like to ask questions if something didn't really make sense or add on to, they said. When discussing what we are doing we split our tasks, for example if one is doing the writing the other two are helping to research about the topic or the other is annotating the writing or reading over it. We do this so that its fair and that everyone in the group has something to be doing and not doing anything while the others are working. Summary: Today in class we worked on making or first 2 introduction paragraphs for our research topic as a group.  Reflection: Today in class I learned about the necessary steps to take when constructing our 2 introduction paragraphs about our research topic.

What challenges did your group face while selecting and analyzing sources, and how did you overcome them? Be specific about how your group communicated and worked through disagreements.

Prompt: Some challenges we faced while choosing our sources would be choosing which source was best fit, or which one correlates to our research question better. To overcome it we talked as a group and stated in what ways the source was the best fit and also the errors or mistakes it had as well. My group communicated well we took turns speaking and what we believed was better and what was not. When we disagreed, we would say why we thought our choice was better and chose which one was best.  Summary: Today in class we finished choosing our 7 sources and write quotes as evidence from each source. reflection: Today in class I learned about that we had to choose quotes from the 7 sources we chose that relate to our research question.

Reflect on your research topic and identify the most compelling issue connected to it. Clearly explain what the issue is and discuss why you find it particularly interesting or important. Support your response with specific details from your research.

Prompt: The most compelling issue about my research topic is how quickly students and teacher are depending more on AI. Many studies reviewed show that AI can improve confidence, save time, and support learning, but it also it can weaken critical thinking and reduce the ability of students to come up with ideas of their own. I find this issue important because it shows how AI can make learning easier, but also change the way students think, work, and develop essential skills.  Summary: Today in class we started choosing our 7 sources we were going to use to create our research paper.  Reflection: Today in class I learned that we had to choose 7 sources and summarize them to be able to see which the best are to choose.

Political cartoons often use exaggeration and symbolism to make a point, and they can also serve as important visual sources for analysis. What is being criticized in this image? What does this source suggest about the issue, and what does the cartoonist want the audience to question or reconsider?

Prompt: The cartoon is criticizing how leaders may distract the people with foreign conflicts. It shows Trump pointing at another country while a harmful bill crushes uncle Sam. The elephant represents the republican party and a heavy policy hurting Americans. ICE standing by adds to the idea of tough or harmful domestic actions. The cartoonists want the audience to whether attention is being pulled away from real problems at home. Summary: Today in class we skimmed sources and discussed as a class if they should be restructured or not. Reflection: today in class I learned about having to research 10 sources each member of my group and then drop it to 7 sources.

Think about a moment when your understanding of your family changed as you got older. How did that shift impact your perspective, and how does that connect to Chris’s realization about his parents in Chapter 11?

Prompt: There was a point as i got older when I started to see my family more realistically, they had their flaws. That shift didn't make me love them less, but it did change how I understood their choices and the way our family works. This connects to Chris in chapter 11 because he also hast that moment where the image he had of his parents suddenly breaks, and he sees the hidden conflicts and mistakes that shaped his childhood. Just like my perspective changed as I learned more.  Summary: Today in class we read chapter 11 of "into the wild" and worked on 2 worksheets.  Reflection: Today in class I learned about the rules or values or lessons my classmates had growing up.

Reflect on your reading of Into the Wild chapters 1–10. Which chapter stood out to you the most, and why? In your response, explain what specifically made this chapter meaningful, interesting, or impactful. You may consider elements such as McCandless’s actions, a key event, a theme, or Krakauer’s storytelling.

Prompt: The chapter that stood out to me would have to be chapter 2. I say this because it surprised me how we were barely on chapter 2 and McCandless was already dead. It was interesting to me because in my head when I read that he was dead I thought "what's going to happen in the other chapters now that his dead." The chapter revealed to me how unprepared McCandless was and the risk he took going into the wild with the essential gear needed for a hike that is going to take months.  Summary: Today in class we took a test on our reading about chapter 1-10 of the book "into the wild."  Reflection: Today in class I learned that my test was 40 questions.

Chris McCandless rejects a traditional path of success and instead defines success on his own terms through freedom, experience, and personal meaning. Reflect on what success means to you at your current stage in life. In the response, explain how success is currently defined (grades, college acceptance, achievements, happiness, etc.) and where those ideas come from. Then, consider whether that definition truly reflects personal values or if it is shaped by expectations from family, school, or society.

Prompt: In my life right now, success would be passing my class and grade because then I would know that I did the best I could to continue forward. My ideas come from the fact that I to prove to myself that I am capable of doing things that require hard work and dedication to acquire. My success is shaped from my mother. I want to be able to graduate and make me and my mother proud as I would be a 1 generation graduate in my family. I want to do it because my mother's dreams were cut from her at a very young age and I to show her that her children will be able to take good care for her like she did for us.  Summary: Today in class we read chapter 9 and 10 of the books "into the wild" and wrote what should be researched and how we connect to the book.  Reflection: Today in class I learned about the disappearance of Ruess.
