 Prompt: During the break I spent it with my family and friends. During the break I started meditating which is something that is new to me and never have tried before. I also spent my break playing soccer as I am a part of a soccer team where we play and go to tournaments. I started reading a romance book during the break because I like reading. A moment that stood out to me during the break would be when my family and I were laughing together enjoying dinner because everything seemed happy and peaceful. 

Summary:  Today in class we read a poem of Maya Angelou and wrote similes and metaphors we saw in her poem.

Reflection: Today in class I learned about Maya Angelou and how she was as a writer.
