Many holidays center around traditions. Describe one tradition that is important to you or your family and explain why it still matters (or why it no longer does).

Prompt: One tradition that matters a lot to me and my family is the Day of the Dead. It matters because it is the only day where our family and ancestors come to visit us in spirit. We get to honor our family generations every year.  The food that is served with their altar is the food that they enjoyed eating when they were still here. We have a bread called Pan de Muerto and it is believed that the families that come and visit enjoy eating it.

Summary: Today in class we recited our poems' for tomorrow and did the blog post.

Reflection: Today in class I learned about the new blog posts and learned my whole poem.
