In the poem, the speaker and his neighbor meet each year to repair a wall. Describe a time when you had to set or respect a boundary with a friend, family member, or classmate. How did it help or hurt your connection with that person?

Prompt: A time where i had to respect a boundary would be when my guy friend got a girl friend. It helped my connection because I do respect a lot of boundaries. When he got with his girlfriend i spaced myself because i like to respect the fact that he has a girlfriend. When it comes to those type of stuff or just boundaries in general i like to respect them because i am a respectful person. What i mean is i like to respect because that is something many people don't do these days.

Summary: Today in class we worked on a common lit called Mending wall.

Reflection: Today in class i learned the meaning of respecting boundaries in certain areas.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

Today, you learned how to complete a rhetorical analysis planning guide step by step, from identifying the rhetorical situation to analyzing devices and effects. Reflect on one step of the rhetorical analysis process that helped you understand the process more clearly. Explain what you learned during that step and how it improved your ability to analyze a speaker’s message.
