You’ve been in American Literature for 4.5 weeks now. How has the class been going for you so far?

Prompt: Since the class started in August I would say it has been pretty good. I would have thought that in the beginning it would have been difficult but I would say it's not. I like the teaching style of the class and how it is very easy to learn new things. For the rest of the school year I would say I would do better and I will try to improve on some stuff. Like asking questions or participating more.

Summary: Today in class I learned about Emily Dickinson's poem "Because I could not stop for Death."

Reflection: Today in class we read a poem by Emily Dickinson and also started on a soundtrack project.

Explain what you learned during that step and how it improved your ability to analyze a speaker’s message.
